This 2-day Early REACH Institute addresses diversity and equity issues through developmentally appropriate practices. The institute aligns with key standards— NAEYC Cultural Competence Benchmarks, Head Start Dual Language Checklist, Center for Research on Education, Diversity & Excellence Stands, Washington State's Early Learning & Developments Guidelines, and others.

Because of the collaboration of the REACH Center, Center for Excellence for Careers in Education at Green River Community College, WWU's Woodring College/Center for Education, Equity & Diversity, and Highline Community College's Department of Education, this institute is offered at special rate.

Join us on two consecutive Fridays, February 22 and March 1, 2013 at Green River Community College, Kent Station Campus, Kent, WA.
